What is "Bluth Falls"?

Everyone has seen at least one episode of Bluth Falls, or knows what it is. It's one of the longest running TV shows in history, after all, and is a central part of the cultural zeitgeist. It is a horror and science fiction anthology series, created and hosted by the GENIUS, Gertrude Starling, in 1975. Each episode takes us to a different version of the titular town of Bluth Falls, as strange events begin happening to normal people. It wasn't the first show to follow this format, but I and pretty much every other "Fallshead" agree that it's the one that perfected it. Countless other shows have paid homage to Bluth Falls' classic twist endings and iconic creature designs, such as animated comedy "The Swimsons" and 1980's sitcom "Cheerio!". But what a lot of people don't know is that, due to the poor record keeping of the company that produced the series, many of Bluth Falls' episodes have been lost to time, existing only in the memories of the people who have viewed them.

Sure, every once in a while, the show will pop up on one streaming service or another, but the quality of the episodes always leaves something to be desired-- as well as the fact that they will only ever have a few episodes from the original five seasons! There are more than 1,500 episodes of the show by now, yet only 50 of those episodes are widely available.

We here at Leota's Lounge, named for the oft-recurring bar that appears in countless incarnations of the Falls, have dedicated our spare time toward finding lost episodes and cataloguing them. Thanks to the hard work of dedicated viewers, we have managed to find nearly four hundred episodes that would have otherwise been lost to time. That said, we are always happy to welcome new members-- especially if you or anyone you know are in possession of recordings of Bluth Falls episodes! • "Isn't Bluth Falls A Hoax?": No, it's not. Just because some thing is hard to find, does not mean it's fake.
• "Isn't Gertrude Starling Dead?": No, that's just an urban legend. She stopped making public appearances when the show started airing, because it's very very time consuming to make a show every week for fifty years. She is still alive, otherwise, who would host the show?
• "Where Can I Watch Bluth Falls?": Unfortunately, it can be hard to find the series on-line, and due to legal reasons, we can't upload the archive we have built to this site. Your best bet is to find a VHS tape of the show, they usually turn up in second hand stores. Other viewing avenues can't even be spoken of here, if you catch my meaning. . .
• "Why does your web site look like this?": The admin previously in charge of the web page's design has parted ways with us, due to personal reasons that I don't want to get into. So, I had to redo everything from scratch. I'm no expert, but think it looks good for starts! I'm still learning, so please expect this site to change and get better as I figure things out!
